Day 1 Depart the UK

Depart the UK on an overnight flight to Bangkok

Day 2 Bangkok

Arrive in Bangkok, your guide and driver will meet you and transfer you to Chatrium Hotel. Here you’ll check into a two-bedroom suite, the rest of the day is free to relax, perhaps a good time to have a dip in the hotel pool.

Day 3 Bangkok

Today you’ll have a great introduction to Bangkok with your guide who will take you on a tour of the city. The guide will structure the day according to your family’s interests, learn about the history of Bangkok's glittering temples and Grand Palace, have fun haggling in the markets and malls, or taste some delicious Thai street food. A car/driver is available for you, but we recommend using public transport today, it’s enjoyable and much faster than road travel, your guide will show you the ropes.

Day 4 Bangkok

Today you have the chance to explore the rural Thai countryside just outside Bangkok on a fascinating, fun and leisurely cycle tour. You’ll visit the village of Minburi, which is steeped in history and has picturesque canals, rice fields, market towns, and temples nearby. Enjoy a Thai noodle lunch en route.

Today’s cycling is suitable for anyone who can use a bike. Still, if any members of the family prefer to stay on foot, then your travel consultant can suggest alternative options.

Day 5 Khao Sok National Park

Today you depart early for Southern Thailand. You’ll take a short flight to Phuket, for your transfer to Khao Sok National Park. After lunch, you’ll travel to a local elephant camp, where you'll get to meet the majestic yet gentle animals. A scenic canoe trip will follow.

After a Thai dinner, you’ll retire to the sounds of the jungle. Your stay is at the Cliff and River Jungle Resort in a family room, the resort is set against a beautiful backdrop of dramatic limestone cliffs.  

Day 6 Khao Sok National Park

Today you’ll experience a jungle hike in Khao Sok National Park with an informative and experienced English speaking guide as your companion. With a keen eye for wildlife and nature, your guide will be able to spot interesting points of fauna and flora along the way. You'll have a packed lunch in the jungle and a chance for a swim in the refreshing waters of the Klong Sok River.

Day 7 Khao Sok National Park

Today you have a full day trip to Chieow Laan Lake. Travelling by long tail boat to your lunch destination at the floating raft houses, you'll have the chance to enjoy the stunning scenery, view limestone caves and take a dip in the emerald green waters of the lake.

After a Thai lunch, there is a guided canoe trip on the lake; the scenery here is quite simply, amazing.

Day 8 Phuket

Before departure today, there is a chance for any members of the family who are keen to have a massage treatment at the resort spa. After another delicious lunch, it's time to say goodbye to your jungle hideaway and transfer to Phuket. Here you will check into Kata Thani Resort in a Grand Suite for a weeks stay, this resort is in a great location on Phuket, away from the notorious Patong area but not at all isolated. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance, and there is a range of beach sports available along with the sandy white shorts.

Day 9-14 Phuket

During your week in Phuket, we include a day trip to Koh Phi Phi where you can snorkel in crystal clear waters and discover the famous islands.  The rest of your time here is free, and the location of your resort is a perfect spot for enjoying Thai beach life. If your family prefer a range of activities, then the island has many activities available, including a water park, white water rafting, and some fantastic off-the-beaten-track day tours.  Most of these can be booked locally or in advance of travel, speak to your travel consultant for further details.

Day 15 Fly Home

Depart Phuket today for your flight home.
