Day 1 Depart the UK

Depart the UK.

Day 2 Siem Reap

Meet your guide on arrival to go to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day relaxing or take a guided tour to one of the smaller temples to watch the sunset.

Day 3 & 4 The temples of angkor

Start early to experience the temples at their most serene. Enjoy a picnic breakfast at Ta Phrom, where the roots of giant trees embrace the ruins, or at the pink-hued Banteay Srey. You'll have the chance to explore the most famous temple, Angkor Wat, as well as the ancient royal city of Angkor Thom, (including the impressive Bayon temple mountain). You'll also see lesser-visited gems like the pyramid of Baphuon, Phimean Akas, and the royal viewing stands (known as the Terrace of Elephants).

Beyond the temples, there’s time to explore the rural villages near Tonle Sap Lake and enjoy the lively cafes and night markets of Siem Reap.

Days 5 & 6 Phnom Penh

Choose between a short flight or a scenic drive to Phnom Penh, Cambodia's capital.

Here, you'll take a comprehensive journey through some of the city's most important historic and cultural sites. Your guided tour will take in the infamous settings of Toul Sleng and the Killing Fields of Choeung Ek. After exploring the poignant sites, dive into the bustling Russian Market, followed by a visit to the Royal Palace and National Museum. Wrap up the day with a cyclo ride and sunset drinks on the terrace of the Foreign Correspondents' Club.

Day 7 Chau Doc

Today, it's time to travel by boat along the Mekong River from Phnom Penh to Chau Doc, crossing the border between Cambodia and Vietnam. We'll take care of your Visa en route, making for a smooth and unique transition between these two fascinating countries.

Day 8 Can Tho

When you arrive in Chau Doc, you'll jump in your chauffeur-driven car and continue your journey through the heart of the Mekong region to Can Tho (around a 3 hour drive).

Day 9 the Mekong to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon)

Early this morning, take a guided tour of Cai Rang: a bustling floating market near Can Tho. You'll then head towards Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). After some time to freshen up at your hotel, you'll take an exciting evening tour of Saigon, riding pillion on a vintage Vespa with your guide.

Day 10 & 11 Saigon

You'll have a full day to explore the city with your guide. Take in the highlights like Notre Dame Cathedral and the former Presidential Palace, before exploring some lesser-visited parts. End the day with a cocktail at the chic 'Skybar' and reflect on your day delving into the contrasts of the city.

During your time in Saigon, you can also visit the Cu Chi Tunnels if you wish to. You'll go via the express river boat, a quick and fun way to travel.

Day 12 – 15 Mui Ne

Leave the city behind for the coastal town of Mui Ne. Here, you’ll spend four nights unwinding on the beach, dining at local restaurants, and perhaps trying out some watersports.
