Aramness Safari Lodge
Highlights
Teak forest setting,
Private plunge pools
Best for
Families,
Couples,

Nestled in the wilderness of Gir National Park, Aramness provides a luxurious gateway to the surrounding area’s beautiful nature and abundant wildlife.
Located in an area with a high density of Asiatic lions, the lodge is ideal for families or groups hoping to have close and personal encounters with these magnificent animals.
We’d recommend Aramness to anyone passionate about wildlife who doesn’t want to compromise on comfort. The price tag may put some people off, but it’s justifiable for those who want an exceptional experience in the Gir National Park.

Although undoubtedly a highlight, the lions are just one of the rare and fascinating species in the park.
The lodge’s guides take guests on private jeep safaris into the park with chances of spotting leopards, crocodiles, honey badgers, antelopes, snakes, and a host of other inhabitants, including over 300 species of birds.
It’s a unique ecosystem, and Aramness is a prime position from which to explore, at the edge of the park and inside the protected teak forest.

The Rooms
The lodge blends traditional influences of Gujarat villages, but the rooms themselves are far from modest – in fact we think they’re some of the best in India.
The modern and minimalist design does set a high-end yet comfortable environment, which manages to stay in tune with nature by surrounding itself with landscaped gardens and orchards. There are even domestic buffalo wandering the grounds.
Currently consisting of 18 ‘kothi’ (suites), guests can choose from either one or two-bedroom family suites, all of which offer spacious living rooms, large terraces, and private plunge pools.

What You’ll Find:
- 18 luxury kothi suites with private terraces and plunge pools
- Set within protected teak forest at the park’s edge
- Landscaped gardens, working orchards, and a resident herd of buffalo
Why You'll Love It:
- Head out on private safaris in search of Asiatic lions and over 300 bird species
- Stay in one of India’s most stylish safari lodges, blending nature and design
- Explore Gir’s diverse wildlife, from leopards to honey badgers
