Samode Haveli
Traditional Indo-Saracenic design,
Central location,
Peaceful courtyards
Couples,
Families,
Culture Seekers
Samode Haveli is Jaipur’s first heritage property, well situated in old Jaipur town.
Constructed around 175 years ago, it was originally a nobleman’s residence, restored in the original Indo-Saracenic style and converted into a heritage hotel.
A charismatic touch at Samode Haveli is the entranceway, an elephant ramp constructed in the 1940s for a regal family wedding ceremony.
There are plenty of lovely, intimate courtyards for relaxing, and the restaurants serve Rajasthani and international dishes. The large pool and hot tub area is a particular treat, and there are areas for children to splash around.
Samode is a beautiful and opulent choice for families and couples looking to explore Jaipur and enjoy a traditional Rajasthani atmosphere.
As far as heritage properties go, Samode Haveli is surprisingly spacious, which works in its favour. It’s also very peaceful and tranquil, which is ideal considering its central location. Service standards and facilities are pleasing but not quite five-star, so those seeking royal treatment might prefer to stay in a slicker, more international operation.
The Rooms
Each room has its unique style and design, but the suites are particularly favourable for extra space to stretch out. Some feature private courtyards and balconies that overlook charming gardens, fountains, and pools.
