SUJÁN Sher Bagh
1920s-inspired tented safari camp,
Eco-luxury ethos,
Star-lit dining
Couples,
Wildlife Enthusiasts,
Culture Seekers
Ranthambore’s original luxury tent camp was established at the turn of the century on land that was once considered barren and uninhabitable.
Years later, the forests are healthy and teeming with wildlife, and Sher Bagh is booming.
With a park entrance just ten minutes away, this is a great place to come for tiger spotting in Ranthambore National Park and wandering through the ruins of the nearby fort. This glamorous experience comes highly recommended.
There’s a unique Edwardian ambience, particularly under the stars when the pathways are lantern-lit. Outdoor dining is a starlit pleasure and usually a friendly, social occasion. You’ll find plenty of pleasant areas for relaxing, reading, swimming, snoozing, and dining. There are spa facilities on-site, and guests are welcome to participate in live cooking sessions.
Another great thing about Sher Bagh is its commitment to eco-luxury. The cuisine is organic and largely sourced from the campsite’s own garden. Additionally, there are complimentary discussions by visiting naturalists and conservationists.
The Rooms
The twelve tents are inspired by the safari accommodations preferred by Indian royalty in the 1920s. Each tent is air-conditioned with a constant flow of hot and cold water and a private veranda.
