Designed to resemble a historic Rajasthani Fort, this boutique hotel sits in a small town in the Aravali Hills, just 20 minutes out from Udaipur.
With distant views of the City and Lake Palaces, Bugera Fort is an ideal oasis for those wanting a peaceful and relaxing stay while exploring Udaipur.
We feel this boutique property provides travellers with a peaceful and scenic oasis to come back to after exploring Udaipur for the day, however, those who are looking to be centrally located may not opt to stay here.
Inside the property’s grand exterior lies a central pool and surrounding gardens along with two pavilions for dining and relaxing. The library has a fireplace, a games table and a large selection of books to further keep guests entertained.
For those who want a bit of pampering, the spa offers tranquil and rejuvenating massage therapies. Yoga classes are also on offer to refresh the body and calm the mind in the land where yoga originated!
The restaurant specialises in delicious Indian cuisine, using vegetables and herbs plucked straight from the hotel garden and local market.
The Rooms
There are three room types available, all sporting large beds, vintage furnishings mixed with rustic touches and marble bathrooms. Rooms either have private balconies or french windows that open out onto the garden, which makes for a lovely spot to sit and admire the surrounding hills and property.
With a limited number of rooms, Bugera Fort is able to provide guests with a more private and homely feeling.
