DAY 1 fly to Vietnam

Fly overnight to Ho Chi Minh City.

DAYS 2, 3 & 4 ho chi Minh city

Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City and transfer to The Park Hyatt hotel, Saigon's best hotel right in the heart of this exciting city. Whilst in Ho Chi Minh City we include two full privately guided day tour's (with lunch) covering the city and the Mekong Delta. The Mekong tour includes a boat trip through the picturesque canals and fruit plantations of this important delta.

Additionally, if you would like, we can incorporate a visit to the Cu Chi Tunnels.

DAYS 5, 6 & 7 hoi an

You will transfer to the airport for a short morning flight up to Danang. On arrival, you will transfer to your private villa on the beach at the Four Seasons Nam Hai. This is arguably Vietnams best luxury resort, and we can assure you that it's fairly special!

During your time in Hoi An, you'll have plenty of time to relax and enjoy the experience of staying at the Four Seasons Nam Hai. There will also be chance to get a taste of rural Vietnamese life on a tour tailored to you. Options include a guided cycle tour through the countryside combined with a boat tour to a local fishing community where you can learn how the locals net fish and paddle traditional bamboo basket boats. There is also time to enjoy a cookery school which incorporates a walking tour of the atmospheric morning markets with a cookery lesson and lunch.

Hoi An itself is a great place to explore with pretty lantern and camellia lined streets and excellent restaurants, we recommend visiting early or late to dodge the busiest times. Hoi An is famous for its numerous tailors who will copy or design clothes, the prices are fantastic and the range of silks and other materials is endless.

DAYS 8 & 9 hue

You'll travel with your guide overland to Hue via the Hai Van Cloudy Pass, a spectacular three hour coastal drive with numerous photo opportunities on the way. On arrival you check-in at La Residence Hotel on the banks of the Perfume River. During your stay you'll take a guided tour in Hue taking you to the historic Imperial Citadel and tombs with lunch included. During your free time you have the option to hire bikes, take a cyclo ride (rickshaw) or enjoy a pleasant boat ride on the serene river.

DAYS 10, 11, 12 & 13 hanoi & halong bay

From Hue you'll board the short flight to Hanoi where you'll stay at the historic Hotel Sofitel Legend Metropole. The old city and the Hoan Kiem Lake, a beautiful place to watch the sunset are both a stones throw away. There are several museums, shops and excellent eateries along Hanoi's tree-lined boulevards and its a great city to spend a few days. You'll enjoy a full day city tour with lunch and a 2 day, overnight trip to Halong Bay. At Halong Bay you will cruise the spectacular bay and stay overnight on the Jasmine or Ginger traditional junk boat with all meals included.

DAY 14

Depart Hanoi for home.
