Christmas and February half term fall during Laos’ cool, dry season (November to February), making them ideal for family adventures. Expect blue skies, comfortable temperatures and easy travel conditions. Perfect for river trips, wildlife spotting and village visits.
Easter brings slightly warmer weather, but it’s still a great time to explore the countryside and enjoy Laos’ laid-back pace.
Summer holidays (July and August) fall within the green season. Expect short tropical showers, but also lush landscapes, fewer tourists and a strong sense of adventure.
