Amilla Fushi, Baa Atoll The Maldives, Central Islands
If rejuvenation and wellness in remote breathtaking surroundings is what you seek, you’ll find it at Amilla Fushi. This modern and spacious five-star plus resort is a breath of fresh air and a place to restore, relax and revive. Come here by seaplane (a 30-minute flight from Male) and prepare for a level of luxury that exceeds five-star standards, wonderful snorkelling and some very impressive nutrition and detox wellness offerings.
Clean lines, space and light define thearchitectural concept at Amilla Fushi. One or two bedroom villas and homes are perfect for small families, and the beach residences are simply enormous: four, six or eight-bedrooms. All villas, homes and residences feature comfortable and expansive beds, luxurious bathrooms, stylish spaces for relaxing and private pools and terraces. The largest residence at Amilla Fushi is decked out not unlike a celebrity mansion with games and cinema rooms, volleyball courts, a library, a gym, a steam room and much more. The Wellness Tree house is a very special place to indulge in spa treatments and fitness, nutrition and wellness programmes including yoga and meditation - everything is carefully thought out and completely complementary.
Dining is not just delicious and gourmet, it’s also organic, sustainable and can be carefully customised to match your personal fitness and wellness programme. Australian chef Luke Mangan is in charge, and you’ll find a gourmet deli cafe, an exquisite overwater restaurant and a wide range of top-notch international cuisine on offer including pizza, fish and chips, Asian specialties and a bar and grill.
The resort is family friendly and it would be hard not to meet and exceed your standards of luxury here. Talk to Experience Travel Group about organising a package with full or half board suitable for couples or families.
Ultimate - There are very few hotels we would describe as 'ultimate'. Hotels in this category must have absolutely everything anyone could want and really be aiming for the stars. These hotels generally go well above and beyond and they would always be at the very top end of the market. These are for clients looking for that extra special place.
Well, what can I say! It was awesome! We had the best time and fell in love with Sri Lanka! The Maldives were also lovely but we both felt 5 days was enough even with the diving!
