Bhaya Cruises have a range of boats on Halong Bay and offer a slightly extended route to their competitors that is two hours longer. This is the only cruise that will take you as far as Vung Vieng floating fishing village, for example.
The Bhaya fleet consists of twelve oriental vessels decorated in a deluxe contemporary style. Four Classic boats feature 15–20 cabins across two decks plus a lounge deck with dining room, bar, spa facilities and a library. Eight smaller Bhaya Legend boats offer a more intimate experience with up to four cabins, including single-cabin boats for complete privacy.
The standard two-day cruise follows the typical Halong Bay route around its natural wonders and dramatic landscape. Alternatively, guests can opt for the three-day adventure tour which takes in the same route but includes a cycling excursion on Cat Ba Island as well as kayaking and swimming.
This is a superb choice for deluxe surroundings, delicious, freshly-prepared food and a fantastic tour of Halong Bay.
Deluxe - This is our first really 'upmarket' category. It might be a beautiful tiny hotel with very limited facilities or a 5* resort hotel with all the trimmings; but any hotel in this category will be a well-run establishment with very comfortable rooms, a strong service ethos and excellent food.
