Travel back in time in Ibra - one of the oldest cities in Oman. Visit the traditional town - once a hub on the trading route to East Africa. There is evidence of the town’s glory days in the old quarter’s stately mud-brick mansions, mosques and watchtowers. Historically, Ibra was known for its horses and horsemen, and horse events still occur on special occasions. Another feature of Ibra is the unique ‘Wednesday Souq’ which is run entirely by women.
