Living Heritage Koslanda
Couples
Set upon an 80-acre estate just outside the small village of Koslanda in Sri Lanka’s southeastern hills, Living Heritage provides traditional architecture with an opulent flair.
It’s more than just a boutique hotel: it’s a place to pause. The design combines traditional Sri Lankan features with understated luxury, and the atmosphere is one of total peace. Step through the grand palmyrah gates and enter a world of trickling streams, leafy trails, and distant mountain views.
Perfect for those looking to recharge in nature with a touch of indulgence, Living Heritage Koslanda offers escapism without compromising comfort.
It makes an excellent spot for exploring the hills, tea plantations and even Horton Plains National Park.
The buildings have been constructed in a traditional Sri Lankan style, emanating charm and quality throughout, with a covered eating area, ambalama for relaxing, as well as a well-sized infinity pool that makes the most of the beautiful views. The staff are friendly and attentive without being too intense, a rare balance!
The Rooms
The four bedrooms (1800 sq ft) are warmly designed with mud and stone and are packed with antiques. Each has its living area, veranda and large en suite as well as a private garden housing an outdoor shower and Jacuzzi. It is also possible to interconnect rooms here.
