The beginning of the year is a great time to travel to Goa, India. The temperature is warm but cooler than in later months, making it a great time to come and explore Old Goa. June marks the beginning of the monsoon season, which continues into July and August. Throughout these months, there can be heavy rainfall and occasional thunderstorms. From September, the humidity levels slowly start to decrease as the monsoons come to an end. As the temperatures in October average 32℃, locals begin preparing for the tourist months and the perfect Goa weather.
Low Humidity, pleasant temperatures, and plenty of sunshine make November and December the high season, just like the rest of the country. With the Christmas holidays beginning in December, it is no surprise that this becomes one of the busiest months, with watersports and beach resorts in full swing. It is not unusual to feel the effects of the monsoon season before and after the official season begins. In May, the climate becomes increasingly more humid, and rain showers can be expected in late September.
It is still safe if you are considering heading to Goa during these months. However, it is important to consider that conditions in the monsoon season can lead to flooding and landslides. Activities during monsoon season can be limited in comparison to the peak season later in the year, specifically when it comes to outdoor or water sports. Key dates and Festivals
