Explore Gomantong Caves, Kinabatangan River
Borneo, Borneo (Sabah)

Info : Explore Gomantong Caves

Whilst Mulu's great caves may be more famous if you're only visiting Sabah then the Gomantong Caves offer a great alternative; with huge chasms and wildlife inside.

This limestone cave has a sense of immense grandeur inside, sure it isn't Mulu, but the bat colonies, endagered snail species and scorpians are intriguing.

Customer Feedback
ETG's Matt was always accessible (even though we are based in Hong Kong) and efficient in replying. Will be happy to recommend and use him again! Our guide Bryant in Abai was a real gem. He was very polite, incredibly well spoken, informative, intelligent and gentle. He foresaw our needs, such as ordering chips for the children's lunch, and went out of his way to make things comfortable for us. He was a pleasure to spend time with.
