Meet Our Experts
“Head to the Kinabatangan River for an early morning wildlife cruise. The mist rising over the water, the calls of proboscis monkeys in the trees, and the chance to see wild pygmy elephants make it an incredible way to start the day.”

The Best Times to Go on a Holiday in Borneo
March to October is the best time for wildlife in Borneo, especially for orangutans and river safaris along the Kinabatangan. The driest and most accessible months are typically April to July, but even during the green season, sightings can be exceptional, particularly with the right guide.
If you’re after a quieter experience, May or September can offer a perfect balance of good weather and fewer visitors. For turtle hatching, aim for July to October, while March and April are great for birdwatchers and photographers.
The Best Wildlife Lodges in Borneo
There’s nothing quite like waking up to the sounds of the jungle. The rustle of leaves. The hum of cicadas. Maybe even the distant call of an orangutan.
We work with a handpicked selection of lodges that offer the best of both worlds: access to exceptional wildlife and a peaceful place to relax. Whether it’s a riverside retreat with expert guides or a simple ecolodge tucked inside a national park, you’ll stay somewhere that feels part of the landscape, not just near it.

In Our Traveller’s Words
Meaningful Wildlife Experiences in Borneo
Borneo is one of the most biologically diverse places on Earth. But this isn’t just about ticking species off a list. It’s about moments that stay with you.
We don’t do mass tourism. We work with people who live and breathe this environment. Your guide might be a researcher, a local tracker or a reforestation activist. What they all share is a genuine passion for Borneo’s wild heart, and a desire to help you see it, feel it and protect it.
