Ride along the British North Borneo railway, giving you an insight into the colonial administration and old trade routes.
Originally constructed to transport tobacco, the North Borneo Railway has now been restored for tourism. Hop on at Tanjung Ary, through to the 'Rice Bowl of Sabah' - Papar. On the way see little rural villages, stilt communities and ambling buffalos.
Enjoy delicious afternoon tea in one of the refurbished carriages painted in British racing green - one of the more stylish ways to travel in Borneo.
