THE BEST TIMES TO GO ON A FAMILY HOLIDAY IN INDIA
Surprisingly, the latter half of the school summer holiday is an excellent time to visit Rajasthan – it’s 'off-season' so you’ll benefit from great rates and few crowds.
Christmas is prime time to visit Kerala and Rajasthan, when the weather is gorgeous (but it can get chilly at night, so pack layers).
At Easter, Uttarakhand is your best bet – as is Rajasthan, where you can benefit from stonking good value and up your chances of spotting wonderful wildlife.
