Set amidst the striking jagged peaks of Khao Sok National Park, Cliff and River Jungle Resort is a fantastic base for exploring the Thai jungle.
Whether shrouded in mist or backed by brilliant blue sky, it is undeniable that the surrounding natural views are breath-taking from every part of this resort. Thai-style stilted houses are scattered across the resort and are all open and airy with simple yet comfortable furnishings. All are en-suite with air conditioning and mosquito nets, and the larger rooms can sleep up to six people making it a great option for families and friends travelling together. There are a small spa and a swimming pool, as well as plenty of activities that are easy to arrange including trekking, elephant rides and boat trips.
The resort is in a quiet spot that is removed from the other Khao Sok hotels meaning that you will have a peaceful stay with little noise, and those wanting to eat out elsewhere can arrange transport with the hotel. Overall quite a rustic experience, but a lovely secluded spot to relax and get back to nature in one of Thailand’s most spectacular national parks
Deluxe - This is our first really 'upmarket' category. It might be a beautiful tiny hotel with very limited facilities or a 5* resort hotel with all the trimmings; but any hotel in this category will be a well-run establishment with very comfortable rooms, a strong service ethos and excellent food.
