Rayavadee in Krabi is one of Thailand's finest resorts. Situated in Krabi's Marine National Park, it boasts private access to three idyllic beaches. The resort is spread over 26 acres of coconut groves and sits nestled beneath spectacular, jungle-clad cliffs.

One hundred two-storey pavilions spread across the land. Spacious and sumptuously fitted out, they are split into categories depending on their features. Each 'Deluxe Pavilion' is detached and includes a private outdoor sitting area. Living rooms are located on the ground floor and come kitted out with minibars, sofas and DVD players. The bedrooms are on the second storey and have panoramic views. 'Spa Pavilions' have additional BBQ terraces and outdoor jacuzzis. 'Hydro Pavilions' have private pools and more extensive private gardens. 'Family Pavilions' have two bedrooms and are available in all categories.

An additional range of special one, two and three-bedroom villas have also been constructed with facilities ranging from private swimming pools, lounges, poolside dining areas and jacuzzis. The villas occupy some of the best locations, with prime spots on the beaches or beneath the cliffs.

The Rayavadee Spa offers full beauty and spa facilities. The spa menu includes massages, scrubs, wraps, facials and baths. Several excellent spa packages can be pre-purchased.

A huge swimming pool with views of Railay beach is another showpiece creation, but it is the delightful beaches surrounding the resort that most guests choose for their lazy days. Complimentary activities and excursions for guests include canoeing, snorkelling, sailing, laser boarding, scuba diving and fishing. The resort also has a large gym and both tennis and squash courts. Five speciality restaurants are serving international cuisines to impeccable standards. In-room dining and private BBQ's can be arranged. There are also numerous independent cafes, beach restaurants and eateries on Railay beach.

The resort has won a host of accolades from Conde Nast magazine and the Royal Gold Medal for "Environmentally-Conscious Architectural Development" from the Association of Siamese Architects.

A resort of excellent quality in a breathtakingly beautiful location.

Ultimate - There are very few hotels we would describe as 'ultimate'. Hotels in this category must have absolutely everything anyone could want and really be aiming for the stars. These hotels generally go well above and beyond and they would always be at the very top end of the market. These are for clients looking for that extra special place.
