Dewa, Phuket

The Dewa is a modern resort located adjacent to the beautiful beach of Nai Yang in Phuket Thailand. The property has a great selection of accommodation and facilities, with a laid back atmosphere in a lovely location.

The resort is almost like two hotels in one and offers accommodation to suit most people. The 34 Pool Villas are fantastic for their price and ideal for couples, with private swimming pools, outdoor living areas and tasteful interiors.  In a separate part of the resort are 62 one and two-bedroom apartments which offer a great option for families, the apartments have private balconies and a kitchenette. The apartment area has its own large swimming pool and various activities for children. Near the reception area, there is another swimming pool which is open to everyone but tends to be used by those staying in the pool villas, in the same area there is a lovely spa, a restaurant and a bar.

The Dewa has an intimate feel to it and everything you need is close to hand.  Nai Yang beach is across the road and it's idyllic, in our opinion it is one of the best on the island, good swimming is usually possible and there are few tourists. The local area has a hearty mix of small restaurants and beach bars meaning you are not confined to the resort when you stay here, there is even an authentic local food market near the resort three times a week, well worth a visit.

The blend of luxury and informality is somewhat unusual and this is one of our favourite resorts in Phuket Thailand, a great choice for both couples and families.
