Cassia Cottage is a small, stylish and unpretentious resort at the heart of Ba Keo beach on idyllic Phu Quoc Island.
Simple comforts, a laid-back atmosphere and quality service define this well-respected property and the management make every effort to avoid the hyperbole often used to promote luxury properties. Cassia Cottage Phu Quoc is cosy and friendly and the lingering scent of cinnamon throughout the hotel grounds make for a memorable stay.
The rooms themselves are split into 3 categories - Garden, Sea Front and Beach House and spread throughout a lush tropical garden. All have high ceilings, simple but bright decoration and quality furnishings. Cassia Cottage Phu Quoc has two excellent swimming pools with sunset views across the beach, one suitable for children and one pool reserved for adults. The in house restaurant, which also overlooks the sea, specialises in hearty breakfasts and seafood throughout the day. A stroll up the beach also offers numerous nearby eating and drinking options.
Phu Quoc is a short flight from Ho Chi Minh City and one of Vietnam's emerging beach destinations. The island is the largest in Vietnam and lies in the Gulf of Thailand, just 15 kilometres south of Cambodia. Approximately half of the island is forested and the beaches are open and unspoiled.
Deluxe - This is our first really 'upmarket' category. It might be a beautiful tiny hotel with very limited facilities or a 5* resort hotel with all the trimmings; but any hotel in this category will be a well-run establishment with very comfortable rooms, a strong service ethos and excellent food.
