The Tia Wellness Resort (formerly Fusion Maia) is a unique and enticing up-market hotel and spa with a twist. Beyond the opulent pool-villas and pool-beach suites, guests have extensive freedom to enjoy spa services including massage, beauty and body treatments.
It has 80 spacious, stylishly decorated pool villas, 4 spa villas (2-bed rooms) and 3 luxurious beachfront villas (with both 2 or 3 bedrooms) that ensure an intimate yet contemporary atmosphere. Each villa has its own private pool, and breakfast is served at any time and place. The design is sleek and minimal, with pastel colour schemes and subtle decorative touches.
All rooms come with extra complimentary comforts such as television in bathroom, outdoor terrace and seating, in-room fresh coffee machine, free wifi internet, iPod & playlists, and separate rain shower and bathtub. Beach villas include ocean view, iPod and DVD players.
As well as being a destination spa, the resort is also a good place for treating yourself to the finer things in life. The resort has a superb restaurant with al-fresco outside dining available beyond the traditional restaurant setting. The cuisine is mostly Asia focused, with a variety of western dishes also served to a very high standard and with beautiful presentation. The cocktail bar offers a huge drinks menu, all served with style and smiles.
The design of Tia Wellness Resort is inspired by the architecture of Hue's 'forbidden city', giving the resort a unique character with a strong connection to local culture.
The facilities are extensive including a spa pool with waterfall, library, yoga room, steam and sauna rooms, private Jacuzzis and tropical spa garden in the largest spa in Central Vietnam.
Tia Wellness Resort is located close to both the International airport of Da Nang (12 min) and the heritage town of Hoi An (25 min). It is easily accessible from nearby attractions like Thu Bon River, Marble Mountain and the Japanese Bridge.
Luxury - Luxury hotels would have a superb level of service, very comfortable and usually spacious bedrooms, excellent food, great design and character. For us, when we visited, these places all had the 'wow factor'. A luxury hotel should satisfy the criteria of the most discerning clients.
