InterContinental Asiana Saigon,
Ho Chi Minh City
Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh City and The South
Info : InterContinental Asiana Saigon
The InterContinental Asiana Saigon is the stand out international standard hotel in Ho Chi Minh. It is a genuine 5* city centre hotel with fresh and modern design, top quality rooms, superb service and a famously good breakfast buffet! To top it all its very reasonably priced.
It is located right in the central area of Saigon, so is convenient for everything that this bustling city has to offer. It is the best standard hotel in town apart from the Park Hyatt, though lacks the character of the slightly less high spec Caravelle or Majestic.
The majority of the 305 rooms are in the standard category and you get great views of the city from almost any room – and if you ask your consultant we’d be happy to request a room on a high floor for you. The standard rooms are spacious and you don’t gain from being in the deluxe rooms much as they are geared more at business travel. We have great rates at this hotel which makes it excellent value for the quality you get.
The hotel's glass-sided outdoor pool overlooks the Notre Dame cathedral, while a spa with steam bath and sauna facilities and a 24 hour fitness centre is also available.
Although you are just a stone's throw away from many of Saigon's fabulous local dining options, the Intercontinental Asiana also offers a number of dining and drinking options. An atmospheric bar offering Asian-fusion cuisine has regular djs and events, while an international buffet restaurant serves a famous Sunday brunch.
Luxury - Luxury hotels would have a superb level of service, very comfortable and usually spacious bedrooms, excellent food, great design and character. For us, when we visited, these places all had the 'wow factor'. A luxury hotel should satisfy the criteria of the most discerning clients.

I would 100% recommend the holiday and Experience Travel Group - Nothing was too much trouble. We wanted the name of a shop we had visited and we e-mailed our tour operator who found the name and sent an e-mail back. Over and above our expectations!
