La Veranda, Phu Quoc Island

La Veranda Resort is on a prime 80 metre stretch of Long Beach on Phu Quoc Island, to the south of Vietnam. The hotel's 75 rooms and villas offer colonial-era design fused with contemporary luxury and comfort amidst relaxed island surroundings.

It is spread amongst lush tropical gardens and has a small spa which overlooks the gardens and sea. Rooms themselves are split into three categories; Standard, Villa and Suite. Standard rooms are set in two storeys in the gardens of the hotel, while Villas and Suites are located nearer the beach and are on the ground floor. Dining is another speciality at La Veranda Phu Quoc. The Pepper Tree Restaurant is on the upper floor of the colonial-style house, which overlooks the beach. Seating is available indoors or outdoors on the breezy terrace. Downstairs there is a laid back bar with comfortable lounge seating. Le Jardin offers Mediterranean cuisine served all day in the high season.

The hotel has an excellent, large swimming pool which incorporates a small children’s' area and a jacuzzi. Diving can be organised through the hotel as can several excursions and water sports. The hotel even owns its private island located off the south coast of Phu Quoc and so unique experiences there can be arranged including private island dining. The local area has a range of small restaurants and hotels, so there are plenty of options for eating and drinking around the hotel. The beach itself is ideal and offers great swimming.
