The concept of the Paradise Cruise is to offer a quality of facilities and service to match those of deluxe hotels on land. There are several Paradise Junks that tour Halong Bay but all are designed and run with the same ethos, making the Paradise cruises more “floating hotels” rather than sailboats. The staff are attentive and welcoming and aim to offer excellent customer service.
Paradise Junk Boats are stylish and modern, but built according to the traditional Vietnamese junk boat design and crafted from wood with a nod to the history of the Bay. The Paradise junk boats are the only boats on Halong Bay to offer full onboard spa facilities, including dry saunas, Jacuzzis, massage and beauty treatments.
When staying on board a Paradise Junk, you can expect modern and sleek cabins, all en suite with the amenities one would expect such as hairdryers and complimentary toiletries. Soft furnishings throughout are also modern but have a distinctively Vietnamese feel. Expect your boat to have a stylish restaurant and bar serving a diverse menu of Vietnamese and global-influenced dishes. The upstairs sundeck is a key feature of Paradise Junk vessels and affords panoramic views of the spectacular surrounding scenery. You will cruise around some of Halong Bay’s most scenic areas as well as peaceful inlets, secluded caves, beautiful beaches and lagoons. Various activities and excursions are possible, including Tai Chi and cookery demonstrations, kayaking, swimming and snorkelling.
For groups and families, it is possible to charter the ‘Paradise Privilege’ boat for your own private cruising experience and to enjoy quality service and comfort.
Luxury - Luxury hotels would have a superb level of service, very comfortable and usually spacious bedrooms, excellent food, great design and character. For us, when we visited, these places all had the 'wow factor'. A luxury hotel should satisfy the criteria of the most discerning clients.
