Victoria Resort, Phan Thiet, Mui Ne

Spread across a grassy hillside with commanding sea views and a wide beachfront lies the Victoria Resort & Spa; one of the area's best beach properties. Located at the quiet, southern end of Phan Thiet and with just 61 bungalows, the resort is relatively small and intimate.

The thatched bungalows and villas are spread spaciously across the hillside and beachfront. There are four categories of bungalow: Seaview, Beachfront, Family and Deluxe Sea View. The four Villas are, not surprisingly, the pick of the accommodation and include two Deluxe Family Villas, a two-bedroom Private Pool Villa and a family Pool Villa with five bedrooms. Each bungalow is designed in a Vietnamese style and luxuriously fitted out with large living areas, light interiors and indoor and outdoor bathing areas.

It is not entirely necessary to go for the pool villas as the resort itself has two fantastic outdoor swimming pools. Other facilities include babysitting services, a kids club, boogie boards, volleyball, a gym and a full range of water sports.

Dining options are varied. L'Ocean Restaurant & Bar overlooks the sea and specialises in seafood, Vietnamese cuisine and international dishes. La Paillotte is a relaxed poolside bar and grill, the Tea Bar serves drinks and snacks at the beach-side while the Infinity Restaurant is located next to the infinity pool.

There is an in-house spa offering a full range of treatments from experienced therapists in tranquil surroundings.
