Vinh Hung Emerald Resort, Hoi An

A brilliant hotel located a few minutes-walk from the centre of Hoi An town, with excellent facilities and a lovely, laid-back atmosphere. A hidden gem in Hoi An.

Charmingly Hoi An is a hive of activity in the day, with a colourful market, lots of street food, boats gliding up and down the river and more. Vinh Hung Emerald has found a lovely quiet spot that is a very short walk to the centre of the old town, but is still lovely and peaceful. The main lobby and dining/pool area looks out across a large section of the river, allowing for some lovely sunsets. The large pool is set amidst a nice lawn area that also looks over the river, with a small beach-style bar serving drinks as the sun goes down.

The rooms are in a U-shape of building around the main pool, with the best rooms looking over the river. They are all simple yet clean, modern and spacious with plenty of light and good amenities.

The restaurant looks out over the pool and has a lovely breakfast buffet selection as well as freshly cooked food throughout the day. There is also wifi, laundry services, a small spa and many other excellent facilities, all fronted by friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is a family run property, with the family owning three other properties in Vietnam all with an excellent reputation.

This hotel is superb value for money and is an excellent choice for comfort, convenience and lovely river views in Hoi An.
