This contemporary, five-bedroom tea planter’s bungalow is nestled amongst the mountainside of Dickoya and offers stunning views over the Castlereagh Reservoir. Surrounded by tea fields, rolling hills and pine forests, it makes for a great location to explore the western hill country.
Camellia Hills is known for high-quality service and friendly staff who have a knack for making guests feel at home. Enjoy delicious local and international cuisine and afternoon tea served up by the hotel chef in one of the many open-plan areas or out on the terrace to take in the spectacular views.
Camellia Hills in all is a stunning, intimate property that is child-friendly. For those travelling with children, we highly recommend the master suite as it has two bedrooms and a decent amount of space.
The 10-metre infinity pool overlooking the valley is a highlight for all guests and is an ideal spot to watch the sunrise over the reservoir. While the climate is warm and fresh during the day and cool by night, we recommend a long walk or hike through the surrounding tea fields, or perhaps a visit to the local tea factories.
The Rooms
Keeping with the boutique and intimate theme of Camellia Hills, the property offers 3 incredible lake view rooms and 2 Camellia bedrooms with panoramic views and comfortable amenities. Each room has its private terrace overlooking the stunning surrounding land, while the beds, amenities and furnishings are comfortable and stylish.
