Tucked away amidst paddy fields and wilderness, Kumbukgaha Villa offers a tranquil retreat in Sri Lanka’s Cultural Triangle.
It is the ideal spot for those who want to relax and get away from the crowds, but still, visit the main sites of the Cultural Triangle. With a generously sized pool and homely service, it’s easy to relax after a day’s sightseeing.
Perfect for couples and families, Kumbukgaha Villa offers a harmonious blend of comfort, privacy, and proximity to Sri Lanka’s historic sites.
A great all-rounder hotel, go here for friendly service, traditional-style rooms and a rural setting to escape reality. It’s not great for clients who love loads of facilities and an enclosed room. The food is local and delicious, served in an open and colourful dining area. Often there isn’t an a la carte choice, so it’s not great for clients who like to choose their food.
The Rooms
The villas are lovely and well furnished with an open bathroom so you can enjoy a rejuvenating shower under the stars. The contemporary Asian style and open buildings really allow you to enjoy the wilderness around you, and you can even hear the elephants trumpeting in the distance. The villas are equipped with air conditioning, comfortable bedding, and en-suite facilities, ensuring a restful stay
