Nimmy's Keralan Cooking School, Cochin

A superb afternoon cooking session with Nimmy, a professional cookery instructor of over 10 years standing, and her stockbroker husband Paul. The couple offer food and hospitality to foreign guests and a fantastic insight into traditional Keralan cooking. Nimmy and Paul belong to traditional Syrian Christian community in Kerala and in keeping with the tradition of their families, they enjoy having guests and serving good food. It will take around 2 hours and you will prepare 3 to 4 traditional Kerala recipes, before enjoying the fruits of your labour.

Keralan cooking is a blend of a myriad cultural influences, which produces its unique and vibrant flavours. This is a real treat and great fun for cooks and non-cooks alike.
