We can organise am incredible trekking experience in the foothills of the Satpura Hill range of central India. It’s a lovely place to explore, with superb wildlife and birdlife in particular, a flowing river and an old hill station. The walk is quite adventurous at times, with steep hilly terrain, high sand banks and narrow waterways and you might find yourself wading through knee deep rivers at times.
As with most places in India, you’ll come across people living their normal lives and generally they’ll be pleased and surprised to see you there.
You are unlikely to feel more connected to the land anywhere else in India and there are various options such as camping overnight on sandy river beaches or day treks returning to your comfortable lodge overnight.
