Coco Shambhala, Goa India, Goa
Tucked away in a quiet part of Goa far from the crowds, Coco Shambhala provides a hidden slice of paradise. Here you’ll find high quality, personalised service and a collection of four, two bedroom villas set amongst tropical gardens.
Nearby you’ll find a local fishing beach, which although isn't ideal to swim from, is a great spot to watch local industry thrive and life go by. Some of the expertly curated experiences at this property really do help bring to life your Goan stay so you get a real insight into local life. Plus an English speaking naturalist is on hand for those interested in the vibrant flora and fauna typical of one of the most bio diverse places on earth. As for dining, two on-site chefs and a sommelier prepare lunches and dinners, planning menus according to your personalised taste. They aim to showcase the best of Goan cuisine using fresh, local produce and seafood. As an added bonus a driver and vehicle is included in your stay making exploring the region very easy.
The cluster of villas are centered around the spacious swimming pool, surrounded by gardens and swaying palm trees. Each villa has two floors, its own jet pool, two large bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and a self-service kitchen. You’ll find they have a luxurious yet homely feel, designed to represent the styles of traditional Goa.
While Coco Shambhala isn’t located on the beach, you will be away from the crowds and your driver is able to get you to one whenever you need. The price is on the high side but Experience Travel Group really do feel you get what you pay for and much, much more at this luxurious property.
Luxury - Luxury hotels would have a superb level of service, very comfortable and usually spacious bedrooms, excellent food, great design and character. For us, when we visited, these places all had the 'wow factor'. A luxury hotel should satisfy the criteria of the most discerning clients.
The meticulous planning and organisation by ETG allowed me to relax and fully appreciate this country and its people.
