Angsana Ihuru, Kaafu Atoll

In comparison to other islands in the Maldives, this one is more of a mini-island - you can jog around it in minutes. Due to its small stature, Angsana Ihuru might not be ideal for a lively family holiday with the kids: the beach is not expansive and there aren’t any dedicated activities or spaces for children. But the convenience factor is perfect for solace seekers looking for simplicity (you don’t have to set out on a trek to reach the reception desk or the restaurant, for example), and plenty of repeat visitors are hooked, not to mention anyone enthusiastic about diving: it really is very special here.
