Just a short speedboat ride from Male, Jumeirah Vittaveli is a superb luxury option for couples and families and one of the leading five-star options in the South Male Atoll. You can expect great service, plenty of facilities, sizable swimming pools and well-appointed water villas.
Upon arrival, you’ll be shown to one of 89 bright and expansive villas and suites. Half of them are on the beach, and the other half are over the water. All of them have private pools and terraces. Some of the water villas are so wonderfully remote that boat access is required to reach them. Expect spacious interior areas, outdoor showers and landscaped gardens.
If you’re looking for things to do, you’ll find a host of activities here: water sports (the house reef is renowned for spectacular snorkelling), diving, excellent spa treatments and if you have children in tow there is a top-rate Kids Club. There are four restaurants and two bars at the resort. Choose from a-la-carte, French, Indian (the cuisine at Swarna deserves a special mention), casual family dining, bar snacks or any number of unique “destination dining” experiences.
