Info : Palm Beach Resort Maldives.
Found on one of the largest islands in the Maldives, Palm Beach Resort and Spa is a great option for those looking to for both relaxation and activities. With the vast array of water sports, outdoor activities and excursions, as well as a stretch of 3 mile white sandy beach this island is a great choice for families. Found in the Lhaviyani Atoll this island is about a 40 minute sea plane journey from Male International Airport.
Kids and adults alike will be entertained throughout their stay with a wide selection of outdoor activities including jet skiing, windsurfing, tennis, football, squash and much more. Snorkelling, fishing and boat excursions can also be arranged. Palm Beach Resort is very children friendly, so parents can unwind in the tropical sunshine whilst their children explore the kid’s play area and special children’s pool. Babysitting facilities are also available. Palm Beach is great for both experienced and inexperienced divers, with a PADI Dive Centre offering up to 3 dives per day .
Palm Beach Resort has a total of 7 different room categories, including one specifically created for divers called the Diving Club Room found next to the PADI Dive Centre. Rooms are bright and airy, decorated in hues of cream and accents of dark stained wood. Villas offer a great value option for families; with two rooms spread over two floors- the lower floor lounge area can easily take two extra beds.
We would say this resort is a great option for families looking for both entertainment and relaxation all at a reasonable price tag.
Superior - This is what we would describe as our standard category. These will be decent 3/4* hotels providing a really good level of service. We would generally expect them to be providing a little something extra, in terms of character, guest experience or facilities too.
Thanks for all your help - the honeymoon was fantastic! All the hotels gave us room upgrades for our honeymoon, which was much appreciated (in fact we spent the whole of our time in the Maldives in a water villa!).
