Kiridara is in a beautiful setting on the hillside overlooking Luang Prabang town. The location is just on the outskirts of town, not only does this make for a peaceful setting but it also means that there is a swimming pool (hotels in Luang Prabang centre don't have them due to UNESCO rules). The town is only about a 2-minute drive away, so it is in a scenic setting without being isolated.
With just 24 rooms, Kiridara feels intimate, and it has a unique design with the rooms staggered down the hillside in two buildings either side of the pool and grounds. Most rooms feature a balcony and are a decent size, with comfortable furnishings and mod cons. We particularly recommend the premium deluxe rooms for the views and larger size; they connect nicely to form twin premium deluxe rooms, which give ample space for families to spread out.
The spacious connecting rooms and the pool and breeze make this a perfect place for families, especially in the hotter summer months. As Kiridara is on the hillside, it might not be ideal for people with walking difficulties or those who don't like having a walk uphill to get to bed!

Superior - This is what we would describe as our standard category. These will be decent 3/4* hotels providing a really good level of service. We would generally expect them to be providing a little something extra, in terms of character, guest experience or facilities too.
