The Mandara Resort is a twenty room beach hotel located between Weligama and Mirissa on a stunning stretch of the south coast. This relaxed beach hotel has a great swimming pool, quiet location and excellent quality rooms.
The hotel's 20 rooms are split into 4 categories: Mandara Room, Deluxe Rooms (with private plunge pool), Superior Room (with private jacuzzi) and Semi Penthouse. All rooms are designed in a sleek, minimal style and have en-suite bathrooms, tv/dvd and tea and coffee making facilities. Size is the main difference between the rooms, with the Semi Penthouses having two double beds which can be useful for families. The majority of the rooms overlook the beach and some have sunset views.

The beach in front of the resort is secluded and quiet as the resort is located in a small bay. Mirissa and Weligama beaches are also both less that 5 minutes away. It is also possible to go whale and dolphin watching from Mirissa harbour between November and April.
Mandara Resort is an excellent boutique property in the heart of the deep south and offers privacy and seclusion whilst having numerous attractions close at hand.

Superior - This is what we would describe as our standard category. These will be decent 3/4* hotels providing a really good level of service. We would generally expect them to be providing a little something extra, in terms of character, guest experience or facilities too.
"Excellent service from Nick and he was able to answer any questions that we had. In addition Nick was very helpful in finding alternative hotels when the original selections came back and advised that they were unable to accommodate us."
