Explore this remote and beautiful area by jeep. You'll ride across the Daang plateau to Utgir Fort, the cave temples of Ghanteshvar and Kurka, and the Chuaki gorge, meeting villagers tending the fertile valley or herding cattle on the Daang scrubland. In the early evening take a boat ride on nearby Kalisil lake, which lies along the same flyway as Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary, and so is frequented by many of the same birds. It is a lovely way to explore this off-the-beaten-track location and a fantastic day out.
