This great beach-front resort has a charming rustic feel to it and is conveniently located close to Thandwe airport, the gateway to the beautiful beaches of Ngapali. The 49 rooms are split into three categories; sea view, beachfront and beachfront villa. All have large balconies, simple décor and good amenities. All the rooms face the sea and the surrounding gardens are lovely and well-maintained. Wi-Fi is available throughout the resort and other facilities include a bar, restaurant, bike hire, transfers to nearby fishing villages and massage and beauty treatments.
The restaurant has a decent menu of well-cooked food, (including fresh seafood) reasonably priced and always served with a smile. The beach-side pool is small but functional and the range of activities and excellent beach-front location make this a welcome choice for families. The beach is clean and the water very inviting, and it is easy to stroll further south along the beach to find more remote spots to lounge in the sun.
Superior - This is what we would describe as our standard category. These will be decent 3/4* hotels providing a really good level of service. We would generally expect them to be providing a little something extra, in terms of character, guest experience or facilities too.
