East Hotel, Yangon

The East Hotel, Yangon is a small characterful hotel right in the heart of the downtown district and is one of the city’s first boutique-style hotels at the “value” level. Situated between the 2 main roads of Pagoda and Bogyoke it is in an ideal location for exploration of the city. The East Hotel, Yangon's set-up is pretty standard with a small cafe and reception on the ground floor then a central lift and 9 floors of rooms. There are about 7 rooms on each floor and as a rule being nearer the top guarantee’s better views and the quietest rooms. The rooms feature a simple design style with comfortable beds and in some cases, the bathroom is open plan. Most of the rooms are of fairly compact size but with a flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi, air-con and the unlimited bottled water they are comfortable.
