Join one of our friends from Galle, to walk you through the local market to purchase vegetables and fish fresh off the nets which his wife will then teach you to cook with the culinary secrets of the South. After a scrumptious lunch, at your own pace, you can explore the Fort where the cobbled roads and unique architecture with the mustard walls will transport you to another era.
You can also spend a morning cycling through the villages, taking in the beauty of the checked paddy fields and trickling streams. There’s also a chance to try your hand at whipping up some “hoppers” (local tea time, pancake like snack)!
