The Loft , Yangon
Myanmar, Yangon and Around

Info : The Loft

The Loft is an attractive four-star boutique hotel crafted masterfully out of an old warehouse building. Not only does it have a trendy and airy New York loft feel, it just happens to be in the prime part of Yangon: 900 metres away from Sule Pagoda and 2 kilometres from the breathtaking Shwedagon Pagoda. The Loft is a fantastic base for visiting Yangon, and you can expect city views, great facilities and attentive service.

One of Myanmar’s most colourful and diverse cities, Yangon is full of charming colonial buildings and glittering golden temples. Once you’ve seen the sights of Yangon, grab a drink at the Loft’s bar and lounge or dine at the restaurant, “The Alex”.

There are plenty of choices for travellers on varying budgets, ranging from 30m2 Deluxe Rooms right through to the enormous Duplex Suites. All feature comfortable beds, great facilities, elegant contemporary furnishings and air conditioning. The 58m2 Duplex Suites have king beds, spacious living rooms with fine leather sofas, en-suite Japanese gardens and terraces offering unforgettable city views.

This hotel is great for a central, modern base for sightseeing in the city. If you prefer access to extensive facilities such as a pool and gym, you won’t find them here, but if that doesn’t bother you, we think you’ll find the Loft a pleasant choice for sightseeing in Yangon.

Superior - This is what we would describe as our standard category. These will be decent 3/4* hotels providing a really good level of service. We would generally expect them to be providing a little something extra, in terms of character, guest experience or facilities too.

Customer Feedback
We enjoyed a 3 week trip exploring both the well known places as well as the less developed areas. We also balanced the trip with a variety of walks and activities as well as time for several half day breaks to relax. The Myanmar people are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The colours of the country are outstanding, wonderful dusty landscapes with rice fields and palm trees as well as so many amazing pagodas rich in colour and symbolism. Our best parts were the less well known places but Lake Inle and Bagan are must do places and are still not overrun by tourists. Experience Travel Group tailored a trip for our needs and knew how to do so and suggest appropriate hotels and means of travel.
