Set on a small private bay in Mirissa, Parrotfish is a lovely boutique villa facing out to the ocean with just six rooms. It feels quite and peaceful, though it is still close enough to the main road and a short walk into Mirissa town.
Enjoy the warm Sri Lankan hospitality, high-quality food and a beautiful pool overlooking the beach with many areas in which to just sit and chill out. The beach is a peaceful paradise and is swimmable, with rocky pools to discover and blue waters to swim in. Nearby you can enjoy whale and dolphin watching excursions, surfing and snorkelling around the area.
The villa comprises four suites and two rooms to suit all budgets and styles, giving a small, intimate feel to the property. We recommend going for the suites as they are more spacious and offer lovely balconies with views out to the gardens and ocean.
Parrotfish offers a nice, peaceful and more affordable retreat, great for several days of relaxation in a picturesque location with easy access to a swimmable beach.
Superior - This is what we would describe as our standard category. These will be decent 3/4* hotels providing a really good level of service. We would generally expect them to be providing a little something extra, in terms of character, guest experience or facilities too.
