Aman hotels are renowned for their style and service and Amanusa on Bali’s south coast is no exception. The luxury resort is set into the hillside with superb views of the neighbouring golf course, the Balinese countryside and Nusa Dua beach.
As you would expect from an Aman resort, the thatched suites and villas are spacious and luxurious with lavish four-poster beds, sunken baths and courtyards complete with daybeds. Additionally, the resort has 8 pool suites each with its own private pool. The main resort pool is huge; it is surrounded by dramatic stone walls adorned with bougainvillaea and frangipani trees and provides a serene place to relax, sunbathe, and enjoy snacks and cocktails.
You can dine in various indoor and outdoor locations around Amanusa, “The Terrace” where breakfast is served has excellent views of the coast and The Italian Restaurant is a great spot for a more formal experience.
Whilst the resort itself is set back from the beach it has its own beach club with 9 private beach salas on Nusa Dua’s white sands, staff will transfer you down to the beach by jeep and you can enjoy massages in your sala. Snacks, candlelit meals and beach barbeques can also be arranged in the beachfront grounds of the beach club.
In summary, Amanusa is a superb luxury retreat near Nusa Dua, an easy transfer from Bali’s international airport.
