Amanusa, Nusa Dua
Indonesia, Bali

Info : Amanusa

Aman hotels are renowned for their style and service and Amanusa on Bali’s south coast is no exception. The luxury resort is set into the hillside with superb views of the neighbouring golf course, the Balinese countryside and Nusa Dua beach.

As you would expect from an Aman resort, the thatched suites and villas are spacious and luxurious with lavish four poster beds, sunken baths and courtyards complete with daybeds. Additionally the resort has 8 pool suites each with its own private pool. The main resort pool is huge; it is surrounded by dramatic stone walls adorned with bougainvillea and frangipani trees and provides a serene place to relax, sunbathe, and enjoy snacks and cocktails.

You can dine in various indoor and outdoor locations around Amanusa, “The Terrace” where breakfast is served has excellent views of the coast and The Italian Restaurant is a great spot for a more formal experience.

Whilst the resort itself is set back from the beach it has its own beach club with 9 private beach salas on Nusa Dua’s white sands, staff will transfer you down to the beach by jeep and you can enjoy massages in your sala. Snacks, candle lit meals and beach barbeques can also be arranged in the beachfront grounds of the beach club.

In summary Amanusa is a superb luxury retreat near Nusa Dua, an easy transfer from Bali’s international airport.

Ultimate - There are very few hotels we would describe as 'ultimate'. Hotels in this category must have absolutely everything anyone could want and really be aiming for the stars. These hotels generally go well above and beyond and they would always be at the very top end of the market. These are for clients looking for that extra special place.

Customer Feedback
Six great and amazingly different hotels - we would happily recommend any of them. We had three excellent guides as well. And we lost track of the number of "Wow" moments. In addition to the obvious, including Paramban, Borobodur and Bromo, we would add our tour of the markets + rickshaw ride in Malang, and having coffee with Mr Rai at the Agung Rai Gallery in Bali. Our guide in Bali, Otok (?) was excellent at explaining local culture, and we left an offering at his family shrine.
