Found near the rural village of Pererenan, Villa Pangi Gita is a private elegant villa hidden away from the busy tourist areas of Bali. High stone walls and tropical vegetation provide the ultimate privacy for the villa, creating a perfect environment to relax in peace.
The villa is split up into a number of traditional Balinese pavilions including one Master Pavilion, made up of a spacious Master Bedroom, bathroom and walk-in dressing area, and two Guest Pavilions, made up of a Guest Bedroom and a garden bathroom. These pavilions are set in an exotic and manicured garden, peppered with fish ponds and statues.
The open-sided living area exemplifies Villa Pangi Gita’s design aesthetic with traditional architecture, Balinese furnishings and wooden ceilings. Vast arrays of Asian antiques also decorate the entire villa.
The dining room is situated across a lotus pond, with three walls of glass windows for guests to enjoy the views over the pool, river and surrounding paddy fields. A private chef is available to cook for residents, though there is a fully furnished marble kitchen for guests to cater for themselves if preferred. Other staff include housekeepers, gardeners, drivers and upon request babysitters and a masseuse, for in-villa spa treatments.
Though Villa Pangi Gita remains in an out-of-town setting, it is just twenty minutes’ drive from the popular destination of Seminyak, or five minutes’ drive from Echo Beach. Horse treks through paddy fields, surfing, and private yoga classes are amongst the many activities on offer to villa guests prefer a more active holiday.
Villa - The 'Villa' is a similar concept to the 'holiday home' in Europe, with some key differences. Our villas in Asia are always fully staffed with cooking and service provided for you. Staff will generally cook meals to your specification and purchase food and drink for you at cost price. They are generally pretty smart and luxurious too and feel in many ways like a small private hotel. Nonetheless, your villa is still effectively a home and therefore you cannot expect the same level of training, English speaking or slickness that you might expect from a hotel at a similar cost. As the owners are not generally holiday professionals we cannot guarantee the quality of a villa matches expectations in a way we can with hotels. That said, the personal local touch means villas are generally much more friendly and interactive than hotels and have much to recommend them. The privacy and space makes them wonderful for families, groups of friends or couples looking for privacy and relaxation.
