Day 1 – Depart the UK

Depart the UK.

Day 2 – Ho Chi Minh City

You will be met by your guide when you arrive at the airport. You will then be transferred to your hotel where you can spend the rest of the day relaxing at leisure.

Day 3 – Ho Chi Minh City

Today you will travel by speedboat out of Ho Chi Minh City centre, and head towards the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, a vast underground network of tunnels used by the Vietcong during the American War. You will return to the city in the afternoon.

Day 4 – Ho Chi Minh City 

Sophie’s Art Tour is a unique and exciting way to discover the ins and outs of the bustling Ho Chi Minh City. Sophie is a fluent Vietnamese speaker, art enthusiast and Vietnam-culture guru, and has customed created a privately guided itinerary that will give you an in-depth insight into Vietnam yesterday, today and tomorrow – all through the medium of art.

Day 5 – Mekong Delta

You will leave Ho Chi Minh City and drive into the Mekong Delta region, where you will board the Bassac Cruise for a fantastic 2 day journey through some of the smaller canals of the Mekong between Cai Be and and Can Tho. Pass small villages, rice fields and local boats and stop at a farmers house for fresh fruit. Accommodation is on board the converted rice barge in a deluxe cabin and all meals (delicious!) are included.

Day 6 – Can Tho

After spending the morning exploring the locale on the Bassac, perhaps stopping to haggle at some floating markets, you'll disembark the boat and transfer to the colourful riverside town of Can Tho. The rest of the day will be at leisure.

Day 7 – Six Senses, Con Dao Island

Fly to Con Dao island, where you will be met by your local guide and transferred to the Six Senses Hotel.

Day 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 & 13 – Six Senses Con Dao

Six days at leisure to enjoy the beach and fantastic facilities at the Six Senses Hotel.  

Day 14 – Fly home

Transfer to Con Dao airport for your flight home.
