Zipline from island to island , Kota Kinabalu Borneo, Borneo (Sabah)
The Coral Flyer is one of Sabah's most exciting attractions. It is the world’s longest island to island Zipline and operates in Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park. It stretches for 250 metres across the channel that divides Gaya and Sapi Islands.
There are two lines allowing riders to go down in pairs and reach speeds of up to 60km. The adventure starts at Gaya Island and takes you to the ending point on Sapi Island. There will then be a short climb through the fantastic forest to the launching platform.
Once on Sapi Island, spend the day at your leisure; swimming, snorkelling or just laze yat the white sandy beach. After lunch, continue your free leisure time before departure. Barbecue lunch is included.
We all remarked on how well tourism blended in to the local community in a positive way. At no point did we ever feel exploited or taken advantage of. We felt privileged to visit the Penan tribe in Mulu and enjoyed the market there without any pressure to spend money. Visiting Abai village and planting the trees was also a great experience for all ages of our party. Again, a privilege.
