DAY 1 Fly to Delhi

Depart and fly to Delhi.

DAY 2 Delhi

On arrival, you’ll be picked up by your driver who will be with you till your transfer back to the airport for your flight to Mumbai. The car is private and gives a tremendous amount of freedom and flexibility while ‘touring’. Your hotel is the heart of New Delhi and after a few hours to freshen up you’ll be taken on an exploration of New Delhi.

DAY 3 Delhi

This morning you’ll head towards Old Delhi to make sense of this often chaotic, historic and disorientating part of town. This is Delhi as you might imagine it would feel and the sights, smells, and people are an exhilarating assault on the senses. You’ll walk around with a guide who will focus this walk on your interests. After a few hours, you’ll end with lunch in one of the few remaining Moghul Havelis (mansions). The afternoon is yours to enjoy at your leisure.

DAY 4 Agra and Taj Mahal

After breakfast, your chauffeur will drive you down the excellent new highway to Agra.

After lunch and checking in at your hotel you will be able to visit the Taj Mahal, the premier iconic site in the whole of India and deservedly so.  

DAY 5 Jaipur

This morning you’ll be driven to Jaipur taking around 4 hours. Jaipur is known as the ‘Pink City’ and the third point of the famous Indian ‘Golden Triangle’ of sites. Check into your hotel, and there is time to relax or explore if you are keen.  

DAY 6 Jaipur

Jaipur is a riot of colour, and as the capital of Rajasthan, it's a hectic place with buzzing spice markets and streets filled with multicoloured saris and rampaging rickshaw drivers. Today you’ll spend the day with a local guide exploring the city's Hindu and Mughal heritage and the many palaces and forts, home to intricate and exquisite Indian art and architecture, including the extraordinary Palace of the Winds.

DAY 7 Udaipur

Rise early to get your journey underway quickly by aeroplane from Jaipur to Udaipur. Enjoy the lovely lake city of Udaipur and stay in a homestay on the outskirts with a rural setting, home-cooked food and stories aplenty. Access into town is quick and easy, and you’ll enjoy a boat ride on the lake to see the Lake Palace, among other sites, as the sun goes down.

DAY 8 Udaipur

A full day exploring the sights and sounds of Udaipur, including the City Palace complex and the markets and bazaars of the old city.

DAY 9 Mumbai

You'll wave goodbye to your chauffeur today and transfer to the airport for your morning flight to Mumbai. Arrive and check-in before exploring India’s most modern city at leisure.

DAY 10 – 14 Maldives

A reasonably long day ahead of you, today you’ll most likely fly via Bangalore to Male, then take a 20-minute speedboat towards paradise (often the most beautiful places require a little effort to reach!) The next five nights are yours to enjoy as you wish on the private island. Breakfast and dinner are included.

DAY 15 Fly home (or Stay!)

Today you’ll journey back to Male airport by speedboat and fly back home to the UK.
