Info : Exploring The Plantations

Tea enthusiasts are right at home in the Cameron Highlands, an expansive, cool and picturesque region in Malaysia teeming with tea plantations and factories. Even if you’re not wild about tea, the views, the climate and the serenity are all reason enough to visit this gorgeous part of the world. On this half-day guided tour, you’ll learn about the tea making process, take in the views and have plenty of time for a cuppa or two. The region also boasts strawberry farms, vegetable farms and a vibrant morning market, all of which you’ll have the chance to explore in the first part of the tour.

Once you’ve conquered the fruit and vegetable farms, tea plantations and markets, continue on to the Butterfly Farm and the popular Time Tunnel Museum. Here, you can pore through historically significant photos and get a feel for the history of the area. The tour concludes with a stroll around Tanah Rata.

Customer Feedback
Of course Angkor Wat and temples are out of this world and Nokia our young guide was very informative and considerate enough to find us shade occasionally and to rest. He was the youngest in a rice farming family, longing to find himself a lady to settle down.
