June Bahtra is a traditional Siamese junk boat which sails daily around scenic Phang Nga Bay. Famed for its limestone karst’s, Phang Nga Bay is the Thailand of picture postcards. The wooden schooner spends the day sailing around the bay with stops at James Bond Island (the most famous karst, busy but worth a view) and a sea gypsy village. Excursions are also made aboard a smaller long tail boat to more difficult to reach parts of the bay like mangrove forests and intricate caves.
After a morning of exploration a Thai buffet lunch is served on-board the boat. The afternoon is less structured with the opportunity to swim, sunbathe and relax at your leisure.
This is a great way to explore the highlights of the bay in a small group with a knowledgeable guide. The boat can even be chartered for small groups. Return transfers to the boat are included.
